To provide professional leadership and strategic direction for assigned program(s) and overall organization. Assists in the preparation of proposals and performs financial and programmatic analysis of assigned program(s).
1.Assists Program Director(s) in the development, planning, implementation, and assessment of assigned program
2.Performs comprehensive projections and analysis of expenses and income for designated programs on a quarterly basis (more frequent if necessary); works with Program Director(s) to assure that expenses conform to budgets and if needed assists with Budget Amendments
3.Performs analysis of programmatic goals and objectives and assists with Program Action Plans when programs have deviated from approved goals and objectives
4.Participates in preparation of proposals; to include narratives and budgets for continuation and competing applications
5.Coordinates with the appropriate staff to maintain the agency-wide budget
6.Participates in monthly programmatic and financial meetings
7.Assists in the development of programmatic and financial reporting dashboards
8.Conducts the agency-wide needs assessment and annual report
9.Serves as lead person in short-term and long-term strategic planning for assigned programs
10.Provides assistance and support in organizational planning and development
11.All other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Has experience in writing grant proposals or business writing; has experience working with budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, English or a related field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
- Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual in English/Spanish preferred)
