The Dentist is responsible for the provision of primary (and in selected instances, secondary care) and preventative dental care in a community health care setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Graduate of an Accredited Dental School
- ACLS Certification is preferred
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Texas
- Current CPR (BLS) Certification
- Requires comprehensive knowledge of primary dental care.
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dentistry as related to public health organizations and community health programs as well as current social and economic problems pertaining to public health and their impact on primary health care.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
- excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
